After our conference, I had the incredible opportunity to visit Nepal. Although my trip was primarily for official purposes, I found myself with a week of free time, which I decided to dedicate to a short trek in the Langtang Valley—a destination highly recommended by a friend.

I discovered Peaceful Nepal on Instagram and reached out to Bishnu in their back office for assistance. From start to finish, the experience was exceptional. Our guide, Som, was outstanding—his knowledge and warm personality made the trek even more enjoyable. The Langtang Valley truly felt like a hidden gem, offering a once-in-a-lifetime experience.

The trek from Syaprubesi was challenging yet rewarding, leading me to Kyanjin Gompa and then to the breathtaking viewpoint of Kyanjin Ri. Throughout the journey, I was surrounded by lush green forests and charming villages inhabited by friendly locals. I even had the chance to make some wonderful friends along the trail.

None of this would have been possible without the excellent organization from Peaceful Nepal and Bishnu. They planned the trip seamlessly, ensuring an unforgettable adventure.

Bishnu and his team were incredibly helpful and attentive, frequently checking in with “Are you enjoying it?”. His knowledge and experience truly stood out, as I received a wealth of meaningful information throughout the journey. He showed genuine care during the entire trip, and the organization was flawless.

Initially, I planned to trek alone, but they convinced me to hire a guide, and I’m so glad I did. Having a guide made a significant difference. While it’s possible to do the trek solo since it isn’t very difficult, having a guide can be invaluable in case of any emergencies.

One of the highlights was hiking up Kyanjin Ri, which was an absolutely amazing experience.

My trek to Annapurna with guide Bishnu was a remarkable experience. His deep knowledge of the area and its culture added great value to our journey. It was a great experience to do the EBC Trek with Bishnu. The 15 days went by very quickly and you quickly became a friend in Bishnu because of his relaxed, funny and friendly manner. He was always there for you if you had a question or a problem and he knew a lot about the nature and culture of the Himalayas. He speaks perfect English, which made it very pleasant to travel with him. I can definitely recommend Bishnu as a guide and Peaceful Nepal Tours and Treks 🙂
