Detailed Itinerary

  • Day 1: Arrival in Kathmandu

    Since Nepal only got one International airport at Kathmandu, you are bound to land at Tribhuvan international Airport if you want to pursue any of the treks. Our staff will be ready at TIA to welcome you to this Himalayan country Nepal but for that you need to pre-inform us about your arrival date in Kathmandu. Then you will be taken to hotel where you will be residing at your short stay in Kathmandu.

  • Day 2: Sightseeing at Kathmandu

    This is your second day at Kathmandu, and on this day, you need to prepare rucksack for your long trip while exploring the things around Kathmandu. Being political capital of the Nepal, whole capital valley doesn’t lack about both natural and cultural adventure. If you want to know about religion, you can roam around swoyambunath, pasupatinath, swayambunath etecera. But if you want to know about history of Nepal, then you should hang out around world heritage sites such as Kathmandu durbar square, Bhaktapur durbar square and Patan durbar square.

  • Day 3: Fly to Lukla and trek toward Phakding (40 mins and 2-3 hrs respectively)

    Today is the day to enter into Khumbu region, as you have to fly towards solukhumbu from Kathmandu today. Tenzing Hillary airport at Lukla is one of the busiest and adventurous airport around world. The elevation and Surroundings of airport makes it second most dangerous airport around world according to some of international media reports. After landing at lukla we have to walk around 2-3 hrs until we reach up to phakding for overnight stay.

  • Day 4: Phakding to Namche Bazaar (5-6 hrs)

    After staying a night at Phakding (2610 m above from sea level), our journey moves side byu side of Dudh koshi River. After reaching Nyambua Thang, Chumda and Monjo, you reach up to the entrance counter of Sagarmatha national park. There, you have to pay 1000 nepalese currency to enter into the area of Sagarmatha national park. Then you pass small settlements like Tawaa and Larja Dovan until reaching Namche Bazaar.

  • Day 5: Rest day at Namche Bazaar

    For long trek such as Everest three high passes trek, the energy level of the adventurer should be very high. So, a whole day of rest before moving upward in this trek will act as cherry on the cake. As Namche Bazaar is the best place around Khumbu region to hang out, staying one day more now will be worth of money and time. The modern facilities such as spas, message centres, banks, ATMs, internet cafes, Bakery etcetera gives the needed comfort at Namche bazaar before moving forward.

  • Day 6: Namche Bazaar to Tyangboche (5-6 hrs)

    From the long time there are mainly three trails available for going towards Tyangboche. The shortest route up to Tyangboche is via Kyangjoma but we recommend you to go forward from Khunde and Khumjung because it gives more attractive things to the trekkers. Then you have to pass through Phunki Tenga before you reach into Tyangboche. Tyangboche is famous settlement which has huge reputation for its Tyangboche Gompa, where every human passing through here generally offers their prayer at here.

  • Day 7: Tyangboche to Dengboche (5-6 hrs)

    On this day, at first you have to reach a small village called Syomore then you continue your trek around Orsho. But to reach up to there the stop at the beginning should be Pengboche. The scenic view of Mt Ama Dablam, Everest and other several peaks will be on your side for the whole day of your journey to Dengboche. Then you have to walk through rhododendrons forest before crossing Imja khola and then only you will reach to Pheriche. At night, you will stay at Dengboche after having warm dinner at there.

  • Day 8: Acclimatization at Dengboche

    It is another day to rest at this long and tough trek. And be sure, spending a whole day at6 Dengboche won’t leave any chance of regret on your mind. Windy settlement at higher altitude relaxes you a lot while you intend to complete whole trek successfully. Enjoy the full day of rest by enjoying great views of Mt. Makalu, Lhotse, Chalotse, Ama Dablam, Twache and many more.

  • Day 9: Dengboche to Chhukung and Chhukung Ri climb (6-7 hrs)

    For today, Chhukung would be our final destination. You can also climb Chhukung Ri peak if you have intention to do so. Big Kharkas and Himalayan glacier are around the way. The trail then move forward icy streams until you reach Chhukung. Ama Dablam and Amphu Labsa can be seen in clearer way while you have your lunch at Chhukung. Then you can go up to summit Chhukung Ri but don’t forget to come back early to Chhukung for your overnight stay.

  • Day 10: Chhukung to Kongma La Pass then reaching Lobuche (6-7 hrs)

    Kongma La pass is one of the highest point on the Everest three high passes trek. This Kongma La pass is quite famous for the dare lovers as this trail passes through Nuptse Glacier Moraines also. After passing from Bibre, you have to then cross Niyang Khola. Swaying Buddhist flags on the cold breeze of air revives the inner peace within yourself. Then stepping through the sides of Khumbu Glacier your journey will reach Lobuche for an overnight stay.

  • Day 11: Lobuche to Gorak Shep and visit around Everest Base Camp (6-7 hrs)

    Our trek again moves along with Khumbu glacier until reaching Thangma Riju. Trekkers get mesmerized as they get brighter view of Everest with other mountains such as Lingtern, Khumbutse, Mahalangur, Pumo Ri, Nuptse and many more. Then we will take steep trail upward Changri Li until we reach Gorak Shep. Gorak Shep is at 5170 m above from sea level which is surrounded by mighty Himalayas. You will have short rest on Gorak Shep and walk towards Everest Base Camp then. After getting spectacular views at Everest Base Camp, return earlier towards Gorak Shep before it gets dark.

  • Day 12: Gorak Shep to Kala Patthar then toward Lobuche (8-9 hrs)

    You have to start early on this day, as you have to cover a lot more tough pathways on this day. Your day begins with the astonishing view of Diamond like shining Mt Everest through the morning sun rays. Kala Patthar is the highest point trekkers trek on the Everest region and it also hold Guiness Book’s record for conducting cabinet meeting at the highest point on the earth. After reaching Kala Patthar and capturing great views on both camera and eyes, you again descend forward to Lobuche (4940 m).

  • Day 13: Lobuche to Dzongla (3-4 hrs)

    13th day is quite easy day for trekkers as comparing to other days on this trail. Trekking alongside Khumbu Glacier you reach forward to bit nearby of Chola Tsho Lake. Passing through stupa and tombstone you get front view of Awi Peak. There is another Lake on the way also which is little smaller than Chola Tsho Lake. Then you will cross Chola Khola before reaching Dzongla for an overnight stay.

  • Day 14: Trekking to Gokyo through Cho La Pass (7-8 hrs)

    Gokyo and Cho La Pass are above 4800 m and 5368 m above from sea level respectively, and since we have to cover these both on same day, you have to walk a lot. After having nutritious breakfast at Dzongla, the journey for the day moves towards front of Cho La Lake. From the edge of Ngozumpa glacier, trail travels through curvy pathways on the tricky surroundings. But way towards Thangnak is not quite harsh and we will reach comfortably towards Gokyo village which is famous for its various Himalayan lakes.

  • Day 15: Acclimatizing at Gokyo

    It is the day to have rest again and explore the other aspects of Gokyo Village and surroundings. Gokyo village is beautiful settlement at 5357 m above from sea level which has many things to offer for the tourists. As you have visited first, second and third Gokyo Lake day before, today you can reach up to fourth and fifth Gokyo lakes on this day of trail. Relax sometime on windy atmosphere and return early for much required sleep at Gokyo village.

  • Day 16: Gokyo to Marlung while crossing Renjo La Pass (7-8 hrs)

    Today we cross the third or final Pass of this exciting Everest Three Passes trek route. So, in other way we can say, this is the day to fulfil all the expectation you had from this trek as you move forward last pass called Renjo La Pass. You will walk down while keeping eye on Rolwaling and Himalayan ranges with travelling again to Gokyo Lakes nearby Ngozumpa Glacier. You will also get to see Angladumba Tsho, Relama Tsho and Renjo Lake before reaching to Lumbde. Getting lodge at Lumre is quite difficult so you will walk for another one hour to reach Marlung to get accommodated.

  • Day 17: Marlung to Namche Bazaar (5-6 hrs)

    As we start from the Marlung village on the west of Bhote Koshi River, we get to Thame by using traditional route. After crossing Bhote Koshi River, the trail reaches up to Taranga. Then crossing couple of suspension bridges, we reach the small settlement Thame. Again after crossing few small villages, you will reach the heart of the whole Khumbu region again which is also known as Namche bazaar. Using modern facilities and Internet service smoothly after such a long time at Namche Bazaar again connects you to the another world in comparison to the world you just saw on your trip.

  • Day 18: Namche Bazaar to Lukla ( 6-7 hrs)

    Since the trek is almost over, you have to reach Lukla again for getting flight up to Kathmandu in return. After having food of your desire at Namche Bazaar, you start your journey towards Lukla with crossing several suspension bridges on the way. Rhododendron and Pine forest with various rare species, helps you to forget all the pains you had in this long trip. The chance to explore tradition and culture of brave Sherpa community amazes and inspires you a lot. As soon as you reach Lukla, don’t forget to re-check your reservation of flight ticket for tomorrow.

  • Day 19: Lukla to Kathmandu Flight (40 mins)

    Generally, flight from Lukla towards Kathmandu is scheduled for early morning. On the day with clear visibility you will be able to land at Kathmandu quite early of the day. Landing at morning on Kathmandu gives you more time to explore other aspects of Kathmandu. You can spend your leisure time by whether tasting Newari food or going up to several Festival route of ethnic Newar community. Also don’t forget to enjoy the night life of Thamel and Pop culture of Kathmandu.

  • Day 20: Departure from the Airport
