I reached out to Peaceful Nepal at short notice and Bishnu helped arrange a guide, airport pickup and accommodation for the duration of my trek. Given the late timing, the logistics were handled efficiently and everything was in place when I arrived.
The trek itself is spectacular. Waking up at Annapurna Base Camp surrounded by Annapurna I and Machhapuchhre feels surreal. At sunrise, the entire glacier basin turns gold — it’s one of the most dramatic mountain sunrises I’ve seen.
I completed the trek on a relatively fast five-day schedule. My guide,Som, accepted this plan and managed the day-to-day logistics, including accommodation, meals and village stops, which made the trek straightforward from a practical point of view. He was friendly and encouraging throughout the trek.
Overall, the ABC trek delivers incredible scenery and a real sense of achievement. It’s physically demanding in places — particularly the long stone staircases and the descent — but well worth the effort. For anyone looking for a short, high-impact Himalayan trek without the time or cost of Everest Base Camp, ABC is a strong option.
